Reach out to your faithful who are so thirsty for it!

Sunday Mass!  Thousands of people ready to hear you invite us to deepen our relationships with our wives and husbands through Christ.  Tell us what is there.  Enlighten our path.  Guide us to true Christian marriages!

Students: sponges we say!  Ready to soak in whatever teachers have to offer them about this sacrament.
They are thirsty.
They are our hope.
They are the future of the church.
They are the future of our nation.
They are our future families.
They may be from broken homes.  They may not know their fathers or mothers.  But they have a right to be presented with what a Christian family is supposed to look like.  They deserve it!

And let's reach out!  Let our families reach out to others who are only getting by.  Let's offer them the hope that a family like God intended it to be is also a possibility for them.  Hope is for everyone. That's not offensive, it's all inclusive.  Let's spread the word.  Let our love shine and inspire others to hope . . .

Synod Fathers, Dear Bishops and Priest: It is Possible

The October 2014 Extraordinary Synod on the Family focused on many different issues that modern families are facing today.

Yes an increasing numbers of people have experienced directly or indirectly the sorrows of broken families.  Yes we have to find ways to invite people who have strayed away back into the church.

But it needs to be said again and again: family life as the Church intends . . .
. . . is possible
. . . is beautiful
. . . and is the key to ultimate happiness.

Sure, it is a challenge.  It is radically countercultural.

But the beauty of it goes beyond the most grandiose Alpine landscape one can ever imagine.

So you, Church leaders, can . . .
-present it,
-show it,
-propose it,
-expose it,
-explain it,
-show the way to it to your flocks because you want them to want it.

Not only because it leads to Heaven but also because the journey to Heaven is like . . . a hike in the most grandiose Alpine landscape one can ever imagine.
